MY STORY

Mary Ann Tedstone Glover was born in Glasgow Scotland. She studied music and Early Music at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London before developing an interest in Ancient Roman music. She composed the music for the play Pontius Pilate for the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford up on Avon before being signed as a songwriter to Big Life publishing. What followed was a successful career in music production with her brother Michael Tedstone writing for tv programmes such as The Apprentice and Great British Bake Off. The desire to explore the music of the Romans never left and eventually in 2018 she embarked on the biggest challenge of her career, to gain a PhD in Ancient Roman music. This album with Integrity Publishing is the culmination of 3 years of full time study but 20 years of interest and research into the subject.
